D. Quranic Axiology / What is Salat?
« on: March 12, 2019, 03:38:43 am »
Salat means preserving and restoring natural justice or natural order. The natural order (sunnatullah) is the moral source from which human law should seek to derive its authority. It encompasses the natural relations of beings to one another in the absence of human law (forced justice / political jurisprudence), and which 'salat, zakat and sujud' attempts to reinforce.

Law is the conditions of natural harmony for all species. ~ Mahdi Ibrahim
